A method for coating an insulation film on a non-oriented electrical steel sheet is provided to obtain excellent coating quality and enable a thin film to be coated on the non-oriented electrical steel sheet while reducing damages of coating rolls even at a line speed of about 300 to 400 m/min. In a two-roll type coating apparatus comprising a fixed post(400) set up between a cooling zone and a drying furnace, a lower lift(420) connected to the fixed post, an upper lift(450) connected to an upper part of the fixed post and fixed to the lower lift, upper and lower coating rolls(440,430) fixed to the upper and lower lifts respectively, and nozzles formed on a pipe between the upper and lower coating rolls to coat an insulation coating solution on top and bottom faces of a strip passing between the upper and lower coating rolls, a coating method using a two-roll type apparatus for coating an insulation film on a non-oriented electrical steel sheet is characterized in that an inorganic insulation coating solution having a specific gravity of 1.18 to 1.24 and a viscosity of 12 to 12.9 cps is used as the insulation coating solution, the upper and lower coating rolls used in coating are set to a diameter of 300 to 350 mm, a circumferential velocity ratio of 90 to 100%, a rolling reduction of 110 to 140 kg, a strip entering angle of 4 to 6 degrees, an inclination angle of the perpendicularity to the upper and lower coating rolls of 5 to 11 degrees, and an eccentricity between the rolls of 2 to 8 mm. The insulation coating solution is coated to a thickness of 0.08 to 0.20 mils on the surface of a strip for the non-oriented electrical steel sheet using the two-roll type coating apparatus.
