A continuous cutting apparatus, and a sewing machine having the cutting function are provided to reduce the manufacturing cost by using the components commonly. A continuous cutting apparatus comprises a needle zonde(7) which moves up and down by a main axis motor; a nipple pipe whose position at the central line of the needle zonde is controlled by a second motor; a support can which rotates around the central line of the needle zonde by a first motor; a nipple(11) which is attached to the nipple pipe so as to be detached; an engagement arm which transmits the rotation of the support can to the nipple; and a vehicle which transmits the returning movement of the needle zonde and the rotation of the support can.
