A device for transporting and cleaning tuberous roots comprises a frame, a feed conveyer, an arched roller cleaning unit which consists of pairs of rollers having counter-rotation motions to which a vertical pressure conveyer is brought as well as a spreading brush with elastic rods and an unloading conveyer. From above the vertical pressure conveyer a narrow belt conveyer is mounted, the movement of the working branch of which is directed across the cleaning unit. Above it an additional pressure conveyer the working branch of which is disposed along the cleaning unit is arranged at angle. Between said conveyers an arched protective screen is fixed, the drive shafts of said conveyers are mounted on the frame immovably, stretched shafts are connected to the frame by a pressure spring, and at the end part of the narrow conveyer a drive transfer beater is mounted. |
