A method for treating the advanced ovarian cancer with the involvement of the parietal peritoneum of the abdominal wall comprises the laparotomy, the revision of the peritoneal cavity, the surgery of the internal genital organs, the resection of the greater omentum, and the intraperitoneal chemotherapy. The decrease of the tumor burden is provided by cryodestruction of the affected areas of the parietal peritoneum. In 14-15 days after cryodestruction and chemotherapy cycles are finished, the efficacy of the treatment is assessed in the course of the laparoscopy with intraoperative morphological examination at the sites of cryodestruction. When the foci of metastatic lesions are revealed, the repeated cycles of the cryodestruction and the intraperitoneal chemotherapy are required. |
