A dish washer controlling method is provided to reduce consumption of electronic power by controlling each steps of process. A dish washer controlling method comprises a step of performing a first operation mode for washing polluted tableware and a step of performing a second operation mode including the first operation mode. The number of rotation of a driving motor, for supplying water or steam to dishes, can differently set up according to the operation mode. The number of water jet processing and the steam injection processing in the second operation mode is smaller than in the first operation mode.
