A broadcasting receiver and a broadcasting signal processing method are provided to supply robustness against channel variation and noise. A receiver receives a broadcasting signal including mobile service data and main service data. The mobile service data configures a data group. The data group is classified into a plurality of domains. N base data rows are inserted into a partial domain of the plurality of domains. A transmission parameter is inserted between a first base data row and a second base data row among the N base data rows. A transmission parameter detector detects the transmission parameter. A power control unit controls a power source in order to receive a data group including requested mobile service data by using the detected transmission parameter. A decoder(7350) extracts audio data and additional information from an audio stream included in the mobile service data. The decoder de-quantizes the audio data based on the additional information. The decoder restores a stereo audio signal based on mid data and side data included in the de-quantized audio data.
