A variable valve driving device of the internal combustion engine is provided to reduce the oil consumption by supplying the lubricant of the large amount to the engaging portion through the guideline of the side of the worm wheel gear. A variable valve driving device of the internal combustion engine comprises a cam shaft(26) driven with without notice shape code mold member which moves while lubricant flies away; a variable valve driving device which variably controls the valve drive output according to the displacement inputted with control fittings; and a transmission mechanism(82) delivering the driving output from the driving source to the control fittings through the engaging portion(95). The engaging portion of the transmission mechanism is placed in the spot which is lubricous with the lubricant flying away from without notice shape code mold member.
