<p>An apparatus for allocating resources in a wireless communication system and a method therefor are provided to increase the transmission efficiency by acquiring the early termination gain. A resource allocator assigns the initial TTI(Transmission Time Interval) number to a terminal, and transmits a control signal showing the allocated TTI number to the terminal(401). A terminal state determiner judges whether the TTI number must be changed for the next pattern repetition cycle according to the state of the terminal for the current pattern repetition cycle, and determines a parameter corresponding to the increment, reduction or maintenance of the TTI number(403). The resource allocator determines whether it reaches the boundary of the current pattern repetition cycle to adaptively change the TTI number(405), and calculates the TTI number by using the determined parameter(407). A transmitter transmits a control signal showing the TTI number in case the TTI number is different from that of the previous pattern repetition cycle(409).</p> |
