A reference voltage generator is provided to reduce production cost by adding a PMOS common source amplifier to the input terminal of the differential amplifier. A bias part biases a first current generating part(21), an output terminal(41) of the differential amplifier(40) and a second current generating part(22). The bias part is comprised of a current mirror using the PMOS(Mp11, Mp13) and the current mirror using the NMOS(Mn4, Mn5). The bias part biases the current source(Mn3) of the differential amplifier, a first current generating part generates a current in proportion to the base-emitter voltage according to the voltage(VA) of the bias part. A second current generating part generates a current proportion to the thermal voltage according to the voltage of the bias part.
