<p>The rod (10) has a concavely curved and/or positively driven strips (12, 14) made up of a flat elastic material. The rod is held in a concavely curved position by a guide. The strips are guided in a flat position. One of the strips is wound on a core (16). The strips are connected to a structure having a tubular cross section. One of the strips is made up of spring sheet steel or flexible plastic. The strips are connected with each other at edges by suitable profiles. A tension flange (18) is wound on the core together with the strips.</p>
