The heating device (11) has a metal base (13) for supporting an isolation layer (19) and a heat conductor (22) on a side (18) of the metal base. The heating device at another side of the metal base for direct laminar contact with water is provided with a single-layer or two-layered enamel layer (16) as corrosion protection of the metal base, where the latter side is turned away from the heat conductor. The enamel layer completely covers the metal base and/or the latter side, and the isolation layer covers an edge of the metal base.
