#CMT# #/CMT# The ring (4) has a sealing lip (5) arranged at an outer surface (2) of a shaft or rod, which carries out movement relative to the sealing ring. A stripping device (8) is formed for removal of contaminations adhered at the outer surface during the relative movement. The stripping device is a filament cushion body (9), and has filaments made of metallic material and arranged at the sealing ring under radial camber relative to the outer surface.
