The method involves generating a unique identifier (ID-9) of an archive unit (9), where the identifier imposes preliminary secure of a storage place of the archive unit. The identifier is stored in a database, where the identifier is in association with the storage place. A radio frequency identification type label (17) comprising the identifier is printed, where the archive unit is associated with a code in the database.
