摘要 <p>The method involves forming a collimated coherent light beam (12), and converting virtual image information into spatiotemporal frequencies. The frequencies are adapted to modulate the beam in phase and amplitude such that the beam carries the desired image information. The carrier beam is directed towards an entrance pupil (70) of an eye (71) of an observer, where the collimated beam has a diameter corresponding to a diameter of the pupil. An independent claim is also included for an installation for retinal visualization of virtual image information, comprising a coherent light source.</p>
