Indoor tanning, especially in commercial establishments which provide tanning beds, has been a very popular endeavour for the last few decades, particularly in view of concerns for exposure to natural sunlight and ultra-violet (UV) light. The invention relates to an improved tanning apparatus, having multiple light sources (6a, 6b), filtering means (8a, 8b) and reflecting means (9a, 9b).
