<p>A data interpolating device defines an arbitrary position as a virtual position (s) on a circle where a notable position (r) and an interpolating position (q) are set to be at both edges of its diameter and substitutes a first spatial distance (d1) between a virtual position (s) existing in an oblique direction viewed from both the notable position (r) and the interpolating position (q) and a second spatial distance (d2) between the virtual position (s) and the interpolating position (q) for a predetermined interpolating function (F(d)) to obtain a data value of the interpolating position (q), thereby making interpolation for an oblique direction executable. Further, the data interpolating device defines the virtual position (s) on the circle, where the notable position (r) and the interpolating position (q) are both edges of its diameter, to make spatial distances (d1) and (d2) possible to seek by means of a simple trigonometric function without executing a square root operation with a heavy calculation load.</p> |
