An electricity propulsion system and method of the ship is provided that the reduction gear is not used in order to rotate propeller. The electric motor(10) for propulsion has the speed of corresponding to the speed of rotation of propeller. The electric motor for propulsion is directly connected to the propeller shaft. The electric motor for propulsion is less than 400 rpm. The electric motor for propulsion includes two motors for propulsion and two propeller shafts. The driving shaft(11) of the electric motor for propulsion is connected to the propeller shaft.
