<p>Disclosed is a bisanthracene derivative having a specific structure wherein two anthracenes are linked by a linking group composed of a naphthylene group and a p-phenylene group. Also disclosed is an organic electroluminescent device having a long life, wherein an organic thin film composed of one or more layers including at least a light-emitting layer is interposed between an anode and a cathode, and the organic thin film contains at least one kind of the bisanthracene derivatives by itself or as a component of a mixture. ® KIPO & WIPO 2009</p> |
