The invention belongs to the field of thermal and hydraulic machines. The device converts thermal energy into fluid flow energy which is further converted into mechanical energy. The device consists of two comparatively separate energy converting systems that are connected into one device through the general shaft. Each energy converting system consists of energy converters, hydraulic distributors with piston fixing, energy collecting elements that are connected through hydraulic machine into general system. Energy converter in system is new because there is a conductor and an insulator inside it. The method to convert thermal energy into mechanical energy is characterized in that during one process thermal energy is converted into fluid flow energy, and fluid flow energy is converted into two or more positive/negative mechanical energies that are connected together into one positive energy through the general shaft. The energy is transmitted to external equipment through the general shaft.
