METHOD FOR MEASURING THE RESIDUAL SIGHT OF DISPLAY PANEL

A method for measuring an afterimage of a display panel is provided to remove a noise element due to ununiform brightness of the display panel, thereby accurately measuring an afterimage level when the display panel is turned on. An ununiform brightness image is detected from a reference image of a display panel photographed by a photographing unit(S200). The ununiform brightness image of the display panel is detected by removing the ununiform brightness image from the reference image(S400). After the reference afterimage is detected by turning on the display panel, the ununiform brightness image from the reference afterimage is removed to detect the ununiform brightness afterimage(S600).
