Corner bead for reinforcing edges and method for its production

The bead (10) has an angle profile (12) with two blades (13, 14) and a reinforcement mat (20), which is connected with the angle profile and is projected over the blades. The mat is arranged inside the profile, and the blades comprise a kinking or deflection. An accommodation space (24) is formed for accommodating a part of the reinforcement mat at a corner region of the angle profile. The space is formed in a U-shape, and comprises a projection (28) for fixing the reinforcement mat. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a corner bead for reinforcing an edge.
