A system for calculating an operation rate of a probing tester and a calculating method using the same are provided to improve UPH(Unit Per Hour) by classifying an operation state of the probing tester into detail items and proving a test time per each operation cycle to a worker. A system for calculating an operation rate of a probing tester includes an operation state collecting module(100), an operation state database(200), and an operation rate calculating module(300). The operation state collecting module collects the operation state of the probing tester and classifies the operation state into the predetermined item. The operation state database stores the operation state of each item. The operation rate calculating module calculates a rate of the duration of each operate state stored in the operation state database to the duration of the whole operation states.
