WATERMARK HIDING AND DETECTION METHOD OF THE CAMERA PHONE FOR PREVENTING ILLEGAL PICTURE-TAKING

A watermark hiding and detecting method of a camera phone for preventing illegal picture-taking is provided to improve the amount of operations and processing speed through watermarking in a space area in which watermark information is repetitively inserted into pixel value of the pixels comprising each sub block by dividing a photographed image into sub blocks comprised of pixel blocks having predetermined size. Watermark information of a binary code type is generated from photographing information including a serial number of a camera phone, a telephone number and a photographing date(S10). A photographed image is edge-converted and edge area information is obtained from the edge-converted image(S20). The photographed image is divided into a sub block comprised of a pixel block of predetermined size(S30).
