<p>The present invention relates generally to the field of pain management, and in particular, the management of neuropathic pain. The present invention further provides methods and compositions that treat, alleviate, prevent, diminish or otherwise ameliorate the symptoms of neuropathic pain without inducing overt sedation. The present invention also contemplates combination therapy using one or more NK antagonists in combination with one or more compounds which decrease or inhibit neuronal excitation in the treatment of pain in association with the treatment of a particular disease condition or pathology.</p> |
