<p>Hair drying during treatment is suppressed. There is provided hair iron (1) having reforming members (11,13) disposed in opposite relationship on the distal end sides (29,31) of pinch arms and structured to while warming hair by means of hot plate (67), carry out pinching and reforming of the hair by reform planes, characterized in that at least one of the reform planes of the reforming members (11,13) is produced by superimposing platinum layer (90) on a surface of substratum (88), and that titanium dioxide layer (92) is interposed between the surface of substratum (88) and the platinum layer (90), and that nickel layers (94,96) are interposed between the surface of substratum (88) and the titanium dioxide layer (92) and between the titanium dioxide layer (92) and platinum layer (90), and that magnet plate (71) is disposed on the backside of the hot plate (67) along reform plane (87).</p> |
