METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR OPTIMIZING ROUTING BETWEEN NODES IN PROXY MOBILE IPV6 NETWORK

A routing optimization method between nodes in proxy mobile IP version 6 network and a system thereof are provided to provide an optimized path between a mobile node and the other node through IP tunneling between MAG using proxy care-of address of the mobile node. A home address test is performed between a first MAG and a second MAG(S210). A care-of address test is performed between the first MAG and the second MAG(S220). An optimum path is set up between the first MAG and the second MAG. The first MAG includes IPv6 home address of the mobile node and IPv6 home address of the other node and generates proxy home test message.
