A OXIDIZING ELECTRODE FOR MEASURING ORGANIC MATERIALS

An oxidizing electrode and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to measure the concentration of organic material reproducibly since the electrode oxidizes various organic materials effectively and induces oxygen transfer reaction stably. An oxidizing electrode for organic material measurement comprises an electrode material(101) in which metal oxide powder and conductive carbon paste are mixed and a base electrode(102) on which the electrode material is coated, an electrode body(103), and a connection wire(104) located inside the electrode body. The base electrode is connected with the connection wire so that the current generated by electrochemical reaction of the electrode material can flow to the connection wire through the base electrode.
