It is intended to provide a method for producing a composition-coated tea with which a synergistic effect of a drying-treated plant or a powdered plant and a plurality of components contained in a composition coated on the surface of any of the plant; and the resulting composition-coated tea. Fermentation bacteria D obtained by mixing three types of bacteria: a lactic acid bacterium Da, yeast Db and Bacillus natto Dc are cultured in a culture medium E containing as a main component either or both of brown sugar Ea and a stevia sweetener Eb extracted from an organically grown agricultural product, whereby a liquid composition F is produced.The thus obtained composition F is coated on the surface of tea leaves A dried to a predetermined water content or powdered tea leaves Aa, whereby a composition-coated tea G is produced. |
