<p>A method and a network system for negotiating the security ability between PCC and PCE are provided. The method including: a path computation element transmits a message carried a security strategy ability information to a path computation client; after the path computation client has received the message, it obtains the security strategy ability supported or needed by the path computation element, or obtains the security strategy ability supported by the path computation element and the path computation client together. In the present invention, the negotiation between PCC and PCE is carried by transmitting the message carried on the security strategy ability information, so it simplifies the security strategy configuration enormously between the PCC-PCE and PCE-PCE, and simplifies the arrangement complexity of the path computation element PCE.</p> |
