A method for laser welding between a plastic pipe and a plastic part is provided to improve the thermal contact between the plastic pipe and the plastic part to be welded by forming a relief structure on one of the plastic pipe and the plastic part. One end(4) of a plastic pipe(2) is assembled with a tubular end(5) of another plastic part(3), where the plastic pipe end and the plastic part end are overlapped having an inside dimension(6) and an outside dimension(7), respectively in a connection portion(1). The plastic pipe end has at least an outside surface(12). The plastic part end has at least an inside surface(13) and an outside surface(8). As the laser beam is irradiated to the outside surface of the plastic part end and the inside surface of the plastic part end is heated, fusion-welding(10) between the plastic pipe and the plastic part is formed on the laser-irradiated portion. |
