The integrated protection device with replaceable protective modules and common passive or active base (1) is aimed at the surge protection of power, telecommunication and information lines with a single device. The devices according to the invention feature a modular concept, which requires the implementation of a number of common bases and modules for different types of applications and various protection categories with protective modules for various protection categories (category I, II and III or category B, C and D in power line surge protection systems) and for various applications (surge protection of power, telecommunication and data lines). The replaceable protective modules are aimed at protecting against direct lightning strikes and are based on the sparking or varistor technology. The data modules according to the invention are apart from the sparking and varistor technology also based on diode technologies. The device according to the invention represents a protection against harmful current pulses for power as well as information systems, industrial facilities, gas stations, automated industry and similar. |
