A thermoplastic elastomer composition comprising from 35 to 50 parts by mass of a hydrogenated block copolymer (a) having a weight-average molecular weight of from 70000 to 120000, from 30 to 50 parts by mass of a rubber softener (b) and from 5 to 25 parts by mass of a polystyrene-based resin (c) having a weight-average molecular weight of from 100000 to 400000 [provided that the total of (a), (b) and (c) is 100 parts by mass] , wherein the hydrogenated block copolymer (a) is prepared by hydrogenating a block copolymer having at least two polymer blocks A mainly comprising a vinyl aromatic compound unit and at least one polymer block B mainly comprising a conjugated diene unit, and has a vinyl aromatic compound unit content of from 35 to 45 % by mass, and at least 50 % of the carbon-carbon double bonds derived from the conjugated diene in the polymer block B are hydrogenated.
