A warning system for prohibition of parking and stoppage is provided to let drivers recognize a no-parking and stoppage area by indicating a prohibited area warning to drivers visually and aurally. A warning system for prohibition of parking and stoppage comprises a vehicle detector(10) including a loop sensor(11) detecting whether a vehicle enters or not by a variation of a magnetic field when a vehicle enters, a pressure sensor(12) provided with a plurality of piezoelectric elements installed between the loop sensors to detect the entry of a vehicle by the load of a vehicle and an optical sensor detecting whether a vehicle enters or not by the light reflected from a vehicle by irradiating light of a vehicle, a controller(20) receiving information from the vehicle detector and discriminating whether the vehicle parks and stops illegally or not, and a warning indicator(30) indicating a warning and sending out warning out to a driver of the vehicle if the illegal parking and stoppage signal is received from the controller.
