摘要 A micro-electromechanical system switch and system including balanced diode bridge are provided to prevent a damage of a contact by preventing an arc generation. A system comprises a micro-electromechanical system switch(20), a balanced diode bridge(28), a pulse circuit(52), and an energy-absorbing circuit(200). The balanced diode bridge prevents an arc generation in between contacts of the micro-electromechanical system switch. The pulse circuit is connected to the balanced diode bridge, generates a flow of a pulse current passing through the balanced diode bridge, and includes a pulse capacitor forming a pulse signal generated in response to a fault condition within a load circuit connected to the micro-electromechanical system switch. The energy-absorbing circuit is parallel connected to the pulse circuit, and includes an energy-absorbing capacitor(Ct) absorbing an electrical energy generated by the fault condition with not influencing on a formation of the pulse signal by the pulse circuit. The energy-absorbing capacitor prevents a change of speed of a voltage increasing at the diode bridge both ends as the fault condition is generated.
