The invention relates to a storage device system for the management of a storage system. The storage device system comprises a field station, the field station having: a tag reader; means for inputting a user identification item, and storing the user identification item in a memory of the field station; user input means for inputting user data from a user wherein the user data comprises a purchase request; means for deducting a credit amount from a credit value of a user; communication means for communicating with a monitor; and a monitor, the monitor comprising means for inputting an object identification item, and means for determining whether the object identification item input to the monitor corresponds to a user identification item stored in the memory of the field station. The system facilitates a storage operation using virtual tickets. |
