A casting apparatus and a processing process including a method and an apparatus for core package handling are provided. An apparatus for depositing at least one core package(402) into a cavity of a mold comprises a frame which is movable in both directions, and to which a plurality of holders are connected, and at least one actuator connected to at least one drive shaft through at least one connection part. Each connection part comprises at least one drive gear. Each holder comprises: a drive part including a driven gear; a shaft part connected to the drive part and has an extended shape having a center line; and a head part connected to the shaft part from a distal end opposite to the drive part. The core package includes legs(404) projected from a bottom face of the core package, and a plurality of concave parts(406) partially extending from the bottom face to form a plurality of dents.
