DEVICE FOR MEASURING LOADING CONDITIONS OF CARGO

[PROBLEMS] Loading conditions of cargo onboard a transportation vehicle is measured by a device mounted on the vehicle. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The device has a "wheel suspension device with an air spring" and/or a "wheel suspension device with a plate spring," a vehicle body frame, load cells placed between an axle of a wheel suspension device and the vehicle body frame, control means for sequentially measuring loads on the load cells, means for calculating the loads on the load cells, and means for displaying the calculated values. Based on values sensed and measured by the load cells for a case where there is no cargo on the vehicle and a case where there is cargo, the weight of the cargo and a load on the axle of wheels are calculated. The transportation vehicle can measure, at a place where cargo is being loaded on the vehicle and during the cargo loading operation, both the weight of the cargo on the vehicle and a load on the axle of wheels.
