The present invention discloses herbal compositions comprising at least one Urtica species or an extract thereof, at least one Artemisia species or an extract thereof, and an extract of at least one Morus species, wherein this extract is prepared of Morus leaves and comprises Morus latex. Further are disclosed methods for the preparation of these compositions, uses thereof in treating and/or preventing diabetes, related conditions and hypertriglyceridemia, as well as methods of treating subjects suffering from these conditions. |
