<p>The protective circuit (2) has a by-pass circuit portion (4) and a separate trigger component (3). The trigger component is formed during the occurrence of the temporarily breakage of the light emitting diode current. The voltage drop of the by-pass circuit portion switches from a high impedance into a low impedance condition. The voltage drop is developed at the trigger component. An independent claim is also included for a serial connection of a light emitting diode.</p> |
