<p>A bicycle pedal assembly includes a pair of pedals 12a, 12b and a pair of cleats A, B. The cleats A, B are configured and arranged to selectively cooperate with the right and left bicycle pedals 12a, 12b such that two different release forces can be attained using a single pair of cleats A, B. The pedal 12a, 12b includes a body 22 that rotates about a shaft 21 and a front and rear clamping members 23, 25 are coupled to opposite ends of the pedal body 22.
