A service outlet floor box includes a frame 1 and a connector module 2 mountable in the frame at a plurality of depths within the frame 1. The connector module 2 has a fixing configuration in which a fastening part 16, 17 of the module projects outwardly for engagement with the frame 1 to mount the module 2 in the frame, and a released configuration; the connector module, which may be a receptacle module, is able to be secured at a selected on of the plurality of depths when the fastening 16, 17 extends outwardly and engages the frame and is releasable from the frame by changing the module into the released configuration in which the fastening 16, 17 no longer obstructs removal of the module. Preferably the fastening 16, 17, is movably mounted to the module and is slidable between extended and retracted positions. The fastening may be biased into the outwardly projecting position and a locking means may retain the fastening in the extended position. The frame may contain a plurality of slots at different depths to cooperate with the fastening of the module. |
