<p>The piercer is designed primarily for a pneumatic system driving a roof smoke flap, to be opened in case of a fire. The piercer has a body (1) with a socket (2) connecting a pressure vessel, which is connected by a side channel (3) with the gas outlet socket (4). The tubular striker (5), with a longitudinal slot is fixed to the piston (6) sliding concentrically with vessel connection socket (11) and is pressed by a return spring (7). The piston (6) has close to its end protruding out of the body (1) a neck ("d"), while the releasing lever (8) has a cut-out (10) in the form of circular hole of a diameter (D1) slightly greater than the diameter (D) of the piston (6), connected with a notch ("p") the width of which is slightly greater than the neck diameter ("d"). The symmetry axis of the cut-out (10) is perpendicular to the axle (9) bearing the releasing lever (8).</p> |
