A lighting tower lifting apparatus for selectively lifting a lighting tower or an advertisement board up and down is presented to prevent malfunction as fixing lighting direction of a lighting lamp. A lighting tower lifting apparatus comprises a supporting stand(10). The supporting stand comprises a fixing part and a lifting tube(13). The fixing part is constructed on the ground. The lifting tube is formed by inserting a number of tubes. A pneumatic device(1) is attached to a bottom tube of the lifting tube. The lifting tube is expanded and contracted by air pressure. The lighting tower lifting apparatus elevates a lighting tower(20) attached to the top of the supporting stand.
