The invention relates to a method for transmitting data between a device (50) and a server (60) via a communication link (80) established by a security module (10) between a telecommunication terminal (20) and the server (60), the security module (10) being integrated into said telecommunication terminal (20), as well as a security module (10) which is suitably designed therefor. In said method, the security module (10) receives inquiry data of the device (50), said inquiry data being addressed to the server (60), and allows (310) or causes the inquiry data to be forwarded to the server (60). The security module (10) also receives response data of the server (60), said response data being addressed to the device (50), and allows (650) or causes the response data to be forwarded to the communication device (50).
