The object of the present invention is a method and a machine for mounting at least one cliche on a registration table of a flat hot foil stamping machine. The method is based on an alignment by overlapping of a reference image that corresponds to an image to be embossed, and in this overlapping it keeps into account the thermal expansions of the registration table and of the cliche itself. |
