<p>A mobile terminal device and its processing program renewal control method are provided for making it possible to properly notify users of a renewal state of software without taking renewal time as long as possible. The mobile terminal device is comprised of a display unit (15) for displaying information, a memory unit (13) for storing a plurality of inner processing programs, a communication unit (11), wherein a renewal program for either one of the processing programs is acquired by the communication unit (11), and a control unit (12) for renewing the processing program in accordance with the renewal program, wherein the memory unit (13) stores a plurality of pictures under renewal, and the control unit (12) makes the display unit display one of the pictures under renewal at the program renewal time and changes a display of the display unit (15) to other pictures under renewal whenever writing is carried out for a predetermined number of blocks of the memory unit (13) or whenever either writing-out processing, writing-in processing or erasing processing is carried out for the memory unit (13).</p> |
