A triangular crib for bank protection and the construction method are provided to prevent the reduction in the cross sectional area of a river by the reduction in the width of a river. A construction method of a triangular crib for bank protection comprises the steps of installing a triangular crib(15) having a lateral structure in a right triangular structure, which is formed by fastening a horizontal member(1), a vertical member(3) and a diagonal member(5), and fastening struts(7,9) to at least three or more adjacent horizontal members and diagonal members, to make the vertical member abut on an embankment, filling up the triangular crib with ripraps, and inserting a vegetation tube between ripraps to abut on a riverbed or an embankment, planting aquatic plants in the type of a cutting, installing a vegetation roll to a joint of the horizontal member and the diagonal member and filling up the perforated inside of the vegetation roll with steel fiber, rock wool or porous ceramic substrate having retainment of moisture and water purification capacity. |
