A wireless communication device (200) for operating in a communication system that includes a number of communication cells located within respective communication zones is described. The wireless communication device includes signal processing logic (208, 222), the signal processing logic being adapted to perform a cell reselection process; the cell reselection process including determining a most suitable neighbouring cell from one or more neighbouring cells, the (or each) neighbouring cell being located within one or more zones; wherein the signal processing logic is adapted to determine the most suitable neighbouring cell based at least partly on information relating to the zone(s) in which the or each neighbouring cell is located. |
