The invention relates to a method and device for the industrial thermal treatment of elongated mechanical parts, such as springs, comprising a furnace (20) provided with a cylindrical barrel (21) arranged in a heated enclosure (22), said ring (C1, C2, C3) having at least one storage pipe (25) parallel to said axis of symmetry (AX1). The device comprises at least one conveyor pipe (11) for said mechanical parts in order to direct them into a storage pipe (25), capable of containing a plurality of mechanical parts, through an inlet (E1, E2, E3) and at least one ejection pipe (18) for said mechanical parts so as to guide the mechanical parts when they exit the storage pipe (25) of the barrel (21) through said outlet (S1, S2, S3) after a predetermined rotation of the barrel (21). The inlets (E1, E2, E3) and outlets (S1, S2, S3) are arranged on an upstream side (F1) of the enclosure (22). The parts can be conveyed with the injection of air. The device can include a reject hole for releasing defective parts. |
