Preparation of 6-[3-(1-adamantyl)-4-methoxyphenyl]-2-naphthoic acid (I) comprises reacting 3-adamantyl-4-methoxyphenyl-boronic acid (III) with 6-bromo-2-naphthoic acid (IV) by Suzuki reaction. Preparation of 6-[3-(1-adamantyl)-4-methoxyphenyl]-2-naphthoic acid of formula (I) comprises reacting 3-adamantyl-4-methoxyphenyl-boronic acid of formula (III) with 6-bromo-2-naphthoic acid of formula (IV) by Suzuki reaction.
